And while nothing can completely restore the tightness and firmness of youthful skin, there are effective radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling (also known as collagen-induction therapy) treatments available to help tighten both facial and body skin.

XERF is the first and only system featuring a proprietary monopolar radiofrequency (RF) technology that delivers dual frequencies in a single shot — without needles, numbing or downtime. This means it’s able to penetrate deeper — reaching the shallow, middle and deep layers of the skin — while maintaining efficacious levels of heat to produce targeted structural skin tightening as well as build collagen.

Another option is the clinic’s TriPollar® RF Skin Tightening treatment, which uses radiofrequency energy to gradually heat the deep dermal layers — contracting collagen fibres and elastin for immediate and long-term skin tightening. While XERF employs dual-frequency monopolar RF with a focus on deeper tissue penetration, Tripollar uses multipolar RF with a focus on even heating across multiple layers of the dermis. Both treatments aim to stimulate collagen and elastin production, leading to skin tightening and wrinkle reduction, but offer different advantages and may be suitable for different needs and preferences. XERF may be particularly effective for treating deeper skin layers and for lifting sagging skin, and Tripollar RF for overall skin rejuvenation and wrinkle reduction.
