This serum is the only prescription treatment approved by Health Canada that is clinically proven to grow eyelashes longer, fuller and darker. As it is a prescription product, Dr. Hermant will meet with you to assess if you’re a good candidate, go over potential side effects and precautions, and explain how to apply it.

The solution is believed to prolong the active-growth (anagen) phase of the eyelashes, but exactly how this works to improve them isn’t yet fully known.

Dr. Hermant will provide direction on application during your consultation. To achieve the full effect, the product is usually applied to the upper lashes nightly for 16 weeks.

If treatment is discontinued, eyelashes will gradually return to their previous appearance.

The serum works gradually — in a clinical trial, with nightly use, the majority of patients saw significantly longer and thicker lashes within eight weeks. The full effect was observed at 12 to 16 weeks.

To achieve full effect, apply once nightly for 16 weeks. Consult with Dr. Hermant about an appropriate maintenance regimen once the full effect has been achieved. If the product is discontinued, eyelashes will gradually return to their previous appearance.
